MICRO EXCAVATOR RENTAL · SALT LAKE CITY & MIDVALE
NOTORIOUS D.I.G.
Rippa R10 ECO 1-ton mini excavator. From $105.
Small enough for the backyard, strong enough for the job. Kubota diesel, tracks that narrow for the gate and widen for the dig, a swing boom for tight corners, and a dozer blade for backfill. Pickup in Midvale or delivered across the Salt Lake Valley.
BIG ENOUGH TO DIG. SMALL ENOUGH TO GET THERE.
Notorious D.I.G. is a Rippa R10 ECO — a 1-ton micro excavator built for the jobs where a bigger machine can't get in. The tracks pull in to about 36 inches to clear a gate or side yard, then push back out to about 48 inches so it sits solid while you dig.
The swing boom kicks the arm left or right, so you can trench right along a fence, foundation or wall without repositioning the whole machine. The front blade backfills, levels and stabilizes. Under the cover is a Kubota diesel — simple, reliable, and easy on fuel.
Need more depth or more machine? Look at Hoe Malone. Moving the spoil afterward? Rent a mini skid steer. Packing the trench back in? Rent the jumping jack.

The jobs people rent a 1-ton excavator for around the valley.
SPRINKLER & DRAIN TRENCHES
Clean, narrow trenches with the 8" bucket — no hand digging.
FOOTINGS & POST HOLES
Dig footings, or run the auger for fence and deck posts.
BACKYARD DIGGING
Ponds, garden beds, window wells, small excavation.
STUMPS & ROOTS
Dig out small stumps and rip through roots with the ripper.
UTILITY LINES
Water, power and gas line trenches along fences and walls.
TIGHT ACCESS
Side yards and gates where a bigger machine won't fit.
Pull the tracks in to get through the gate, then push them back out to full width before you start digging. Wide tracks plus the blade down keeps the machine planted when the bucket's loaded.
WE'LL WALK YOU THROUGH IT.
WARLRD goes over startup, controls, tracks, blade and shutdown at handoff — and can stay to train if you want. It goes out inspected and job-ready.
