WARLRD Rentals rents mini excavators, mini track loaders, mini skid steers, compact track loaders, a jumping jack compactor and trailers to homeowners, landscapers and contractors across the Salt Lake Valley and the Wasatch Front. Everything in the fleet is maintained in our own shop and small enough to work in a normal residential yard.
If you're digging down — a sprinkler trench, a drain line, footings, a stump, an old concrete pad — you want a mini excavator. If you're moving material or levelling ground — dirt, gravel, mulch, sod, grading a yard flat — you want a loader. Filling the trench back in or prepping under a footing? Pack it with the jumping jack so it doesn't settle later.
Most of our customers have never operated heavy equipment before. We deliver, walk the job with you, get you started, and stay to train if you want us to. If you'd rather haul it yourself, we rent a transport trailer for that too.

Mini excavator rentals

Loader & skid steer rentals
Moving dirt and gravel, grading, cleanup, pallets and attachment work. Tracks spread the weight out, so they mark up a lawn far less than a wheeled machine.
Jumping jack rental
Pack backfill in trenches, firm up ground under footings and piers, and tamp the tight spots a plate compactor can't reach. Loose dirt settles — packed dirt doesn't.
Trailer rentals
Rent a trailer on its own for a dump run, or add one to a machine rental. Every project makes more spoil than people expect.
Attachment rentals.
The attachment usually matters more than the machine. A loader with a trencher on it is a trencher. Daily rates — add any of these to a rental. Sorted by the machine they fit.

The questions we get asked most.
What does it cost to rent a mini excavator or loader?
Mini excavators run $105 to $175 for a four-hour block and $185 to $260 for a full day, depending on which machine you need. Loaders and skid steers start at $95 for four hours and $145 for the day. The jumping jack is $75 for the day. Trailers start at $40. Attachments are extra — daily rates are listed by machine in section 05 above. Delivery is quoted separately by distance; run your address through the delivery estimator or call us.
Do I need experience to rent one of these?
No. Most of our customers are homeowners who've never run a machine before. We walk the job with you, get you started, and stay to train if you want. These are built to be approachable — if you can drive, you can learn one in about twenty minutes.
Will it fit through my gate?
Kevin is 39 inches wide, which clears most standard backyard gates in the valley. Our mini excavators have expandable tracks that narrow for access and widen back out once they're in. Measure the narrowest point on the route in — the gate, a sidewalk, the gap between house and fence — and call us with that number before you book.
Do I need a compactor after trenching?
If anything is going on top of it — a path, a slab, pavers, a footing — yes. Backfill dumped loose into a trench settles over time and leaves a dip. Pack it back in thin layers with the jumping jack and it stays put.
Do you deliver, or do I pick it up?
Either works. We deliver across the Salt Lake Valley and most of the Wasatch Front — run your address through the delivery estimator for a figure. If you'd rather haul it yourself, we rent a transport trailer, but check your vehicle and hitch ratings first. The jumping jack fits in a pickup bed.
Which machine do I actually need?
Tell us what you're trying to do rather than which machine you want. Digging down is usually an excavator. Moving material or levelling ground is usually a loader. Packing it back down is the jumping jack. Trenching and stump work depend on the attachment more than the machine. Our project guide walks through the common jobs, or just call and describe it.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Midvale and cover most of the Salt Lake Valley and Wasatch Front — Sandy, Draper, South Jordan, West Jordan, Riverton, Herriman, Murray, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, West Valley City, Taylorsville, and out toward Lehi, American Fork and Pleasant Grove. How long can I keep it?
Half day, full day, weekend or longer. Weekend rentals are popular and they book out fast in spring and fall, so reserve early if you're planning around specific dates.
